Like every year, one week before the biggest holiday Brda - feast of cherries, this year the 30th May 2010 Brda winemakers open their cellar doors. We would like to show you where and how to produce wine, lead you through the basement and a glass of pokramljali grades, which were and still are.
Will start at 10 hours in the wine excursion (Dobrovo Castle Castle cellar), where you will receive occasional glass of "Days of Open Cellar" (price is 10 € a glass), wine list and a map, and all the necessary information. The glass will be able to visit all 17 participating winemakers, who will be happy to serve wine, you tour the cellar, explaining his philosophy of wine production and feed all your curiosity.
At the same time you can also hunt for hidden treasure, as we just before the Day of open cellars choose a four winemakers, who will hide in his basement one of the four letters B, R, D and A. Your task is to discover the sheet with the letter, then you winemaker stamp in your booklet. Treasure found, who collected all four letters. Prizes will be awarded to the ten fastest in the wine excursion.
This year's event will also focus on humanitarianism, because out of every jar sold € 1 for socially disadvantaged families in Brda.
